Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, installing, or using Flow ("Flow — Ride Forever"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms form a binding agreement between you and PEVRA ("we," "us," "our"), the maker of Flow.
What Flow is
Flow is a navigation and charge-planning app for personal electric vehicle (PEV) riders — including electric unicycles, electric scooters, and other single-rider electric mobility devices. Flow helps you plan routes, locate chargers, record rides, and share ride data with others. Flow is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future; if we do, those features will have clear pricing before any charge is made.
Ride safety and your responsibility
Flow provides navigation, range estimates, and charger information to assist your ride planning. These are estimates and tools — they are not guarantees and can be wrong. Routing suggestions may include roads, paths, or conditions that are unsuitable for your specific vehicle or your riding level. Range and charge estimates depend on your vehicle's characteristics, riding conditions, terrain, temperature, and rider behavior, all of which vary. Charger availability, working status, and compatibility with your vehicle are not guaranteed; always verify that a charger is present, operational, and compatible before relying on it.
You are solely responsible for your safety on every ride. This includes: obeying all applicable traffic laws, regulations, and local restrictions; wearing appropriate protective gear for your vehicle and route; verifying that your planned route is legal and safe for your vehicle type; ensuring your vehicle is in safe working condition before riding; and never operating the app in a way that distracts you while in motion. Do not read maps, adjust settings, or interact with the app in a way that takes your attention from riding safely.
L1/L2 chargers (J1772, Tesla Destination connectors) and RV-network chargers (NEMA 14-50, TT-30) are used by many PEVs. Only L3/DC fast chargers are generally incompatible with non-car PEVs. Flow attempts to surface charger types accurately, but always confirm compatibility with your vehicle before relying on any charger.
Accounts
To use most features of Flow, you must create an account using a valid email address or a supported third-party sign-in (currently Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@pevra.org if you believe your account has been compromised. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Flow to: violate any applicable law or regulation; transmit false, misleading, or harmful content; attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt the systems, servers, or networks we use; scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the app or its data for commercial purposes without written permission; impersonate another person or entity; or upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes on another party's rights.
User content
Flow lets you create and share routes, add community chargers, and submit charger verifications. By submitting content, you grant PEVRA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute that content as part of operating the service. You retain ownership of your content. You represent that you have the right to share the content and that it does not infringe any third party's rights. Community charger data you submit may be retained in anonymized form after you delete your account, as described in our Privacy Policy, to keep the charger map useful to other riders.
Third-party services and maps
Flow integrates third-party services including Mapbox (maps and routing), OpenChargeMap and NREL (charger data), Open-Meteo and OpenWeatherMap (weather), Supabase (database and authentication), and Sentry (crash reporting). Your use of these services through Flow is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content of third-party services. Map data and routing algorithms are provided by third parties; road conditions, legal access, and route suitability are your responsibility to verify.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Flow is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PEVRA and its team members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use Flow. This includes any damages resulting from relying on routing, range, or charger estimates provided by the app. Our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of Flow is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars (USD $50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for certain damages, so the above may not apply to you in full.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date above and note it in the app's release notes. Continued use of Flow after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the revised terms, stop using the app and delete your account.
