Routes

Plan routes in your browser

On this page 6

Sometimes it's easier to plan a big trip on a big screen. Flow Builder is the web version of Flow's route planner — a browser tool for laying out a route with a mouse and keyboard, then handing it off to the app to ride.

It's the right tool when you're planning at home the night before, mapping a multi-stop tour, or sketching a route to share with your crew.

Open Flow Builder

Go to flow.pevra.org/builder in any modern browser on your computer. Nothing to install.

Build a route

Flow Builder gives you a few ways to lay down a path:

  • Drop stops — click to place your start, your destination, and any points in between. Drag any point to fine-tune it.
  • Reorder and adjust — rearrange stops, mark a point as a throughpoint (a place the route should pass through without a full stop), or remove one.
  • Draw a line — sketch a freehand path and let Flow snap it to real roads.

As you build, Flow routes between your points on rideable roads — favoring scenic two-lane highways over freeways, the same way the app does.

See the charge plan

Flow Builder runs the same charge-aware math as the app. It places charging stops where you'll need them, estimates the energy each leg costs, and shows where the route makes it and where it's tight — so you can see a long trip's whole charge chain at a glance before you ever leave home.

You can layer in chargers, adjust your rig's parameters, and watch the plan update as you refine the route.

Send it to your phone

When your route looks good, send it to the app and ride it:

  1. In Flow Builder, choose to share or open the route.
  2. Open the link on your phone with Flow installed — it hands the route straight to the app.
  3. From there, ride it with full turn-by-turn navigation, live telemetry, and charge stops.

When to use the builder vs. the app

  • Use the builder for planning at a desk: big trips, lots of stops, careful road choices, routes you want to study or share.
  • Use the app for everything on the road: live navigation, your charge radar, wheel telemetry, and quick "get me there" routing on the go.
